Cape Maclear, which is at the southern end of the lake and the starting point for many of our IslandsOnly adventures. Domwe & Mumbo Islands are located just off the shore at Cape Maclear. Besides the camps, there are no other inhabitants on the islands. This, coupled with their rocky shorelines and distance from the mainland, ensures that the water around these two islands is crystal clear and offers some of the best snorkelling and diving on the lake. |
