Le Preskîl, meaning ‘peninsula’ in Creole, is a haven of peace and tranquillity
set in over three hectares of lush tropical garden on a private peninsula. The architecture of this newly renovated resort was inspired by typical Creole homes and the original colonial houses built on Mauritius by the early settlers. Aside from three idyllic beaches, Le Preskîl also overlooks the largest lagoon on the island, magnificent Blue Bay Marine Park and I’Ile aux Aigrettes bird sanctuary. Blue Bay offers exceptional diving and beautiful beaches that have few other developments.

Le Preskîl offers 200 rooms, spread out in colourful one-storey units across the peninsula.

The main restaurant is divided into three separate dinning rooms: L’Epicerie, Le Flamboyant, and La Citronnelle. Breakfast and dinner are served here daily. Theme evenings are a speciality.

The Beach Grill designed as a fisherman’s village serves light lunches and Mauritian specialities on a beautiful sandy beach.

L’Indigo Bar is the ideal spot to meet family and friends at the end of the day and enjoy an evening cocktail or light snack.

A great Kids Club caters for children between 4 & 12 years. Experienced and qualified childminders will look after your ‘little people’ for the entire day.

In spite of the fact that this is a large resort, the setting makes it a wonderfully romantic destination. The relative isolation allows for long lazy strolls along the beach and days without the hustle and bustle of typical resort activity, although it’s all there if you want it.
