Le Palmar Beach Resort is located at the southern end the magnificent Belle Mare Beach on the east coast of the island. The area around Belle Mare offers some of the finest beaches on the island. Le Palmar overlooks a beautiful coral-reef-protected lagoon. The resort itself is small by comparison to some of the enormous properties on the island, and this fact alone makes it unique. All rooms are comfortably furnished and offer all the amenities that you would expect to find in a small hotel.

Le Palmar has a good Kids Club where experienced hostesses care for children between the ages of 4 & 12 years. They also offer a baby-sitting service in the evening so you can enjoy a quite, relaxed dinner.

In as much as we tend to favour the smaller resorts for romantic holidays, Le Palmar certainly fits the bill. Fewer rooms mean fewer guests, a personalised level of service and a homely feeling that the larger resorts cannot match. The location alone – on the beautiful Belle Mare beach – is a major draw card.
