Maritim Hotel

The Maritim Hotel is located in the private estate of Balaclava, which dates back to the 18th Century. Turtle Bay its self is a Marine National Park were the marine ecologies have been well conserved and make for outstanding diving and snorkelling. The hotel was completely renovated in 2000 and is a good combination of Mauritian and colonial architecture. The surrounding 25 hectares of parkland with countless palm trees, tropical flora, and a small river makes this a particularly unique setting. Contributing to the uniqueness is a 9-hole resort golf course and hotel-owned stable of 12 horses.
