The Paul & Virginie Hotel nestles into the beach near the picturesque village of Grand Gaube on the northwest coast of Mauritius. This relatively new resort is named after two mythical characters, Paul & Virginie, whose romantic tale of love and tragedy inspired the development of this true gem of Mauritian hospitality and service. This hotel may not have the same prestige as some of its more illustrious neighbours, but that isn’t for lack of trying.

Every evening a band or a show depicting the various facets of Mauritian life and folklore entertains the guests.

L'Isle de France is the main restaurant serving breakfast daily and a wide variety of cuisine for dinner.

La Trinquette is the beach bar & restaurant serving lunch and dinner.

The Saint Géran Bar is the meeting place for cocktail fans.

A ‘team of mothers’ looks after and entertains children between the ages of 4 and 12 years at the Kids Club. A babysitting service is also available on request, for a fee.

Everything about this little resort sings romance! Inspired by a story of great love, the atmosphere of this hotel is intimate and personal. The setting, supposedly opposite the site of the wreck of the Saint Géran, is one of the finest on the island and adds to the warm smiles, excellent service and great food, all of which conspire to make this a wonderfully romantic place in the sun!
