La Reserve Resort

La Reserve is one of Praslin’s most distinguished and relaxing small hotels. The narrow, sandy beach, sheltered by the hills on both sides and Curieuse Island across the channel, offers good snorkelling – except at low tide, when the water is quite shallow. A nice, friendly hotel with friendly staff.

This hotel is starting a major refurbisment programme in November 2004. Half of the hotel will remain open at all times until completion in November 2005.

A superb location between mountain and beach on the secluded Anse Petite Cour Bay.
· The hotel is in a Marine Park and residents are not liable for Marine Park fees.

Jetty Restaurant is the hotel’s main restaurant, offering breakfast and dinner. This is one of those romantic, “to die for” restaurants, stretching out over the incredible Seychellois turquoise sea.

The Pool Grill serves snacks and a la carte light lunches daily and a Seychellois BBQ every Friday evening.

The Main Bar opens at 08h00 and closes when the last person leaves. For those who like to punctuate their drinking with a light snack, the bar serves sandwiches at any time of the day.

Williams Bar is the poolside bar, offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks between 10h00 and 17h00 daily.

The hotel welcomes children but the secluded location of the resort and the limited activities on offer might mean that a family holiday could turn out to be a little less exciting than the children thought it would be.

Yes! Definitely the dream setting for anyone wanting a romantic getaway…..and if you’re on honeymoon, the resort will go out of its way to make you feel like the most special people on the island.
