	The waters around the islands of Zanzibar boast some of the best big game and deep-sea fishing in the world. The Pemba Channel between Zanzibar and Pemba islands, and around Mafia Island have produced record catches of barracuda, kingfish, blue marlin, dorado, wahoo, sailfish and billfish.




	There are numerous fishing operators on the islands, but it would be a wise to check out their boat, equipment and what they are offering before agreeing a charter.
